Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Messy product I bought these to help prevent stains and make it easier to clean my toilet. Immediately after the first flush I noticed blue chunks of the tablet coming out and getting stuck in the bowl. I thought that maybe it would go away after a few flushes but it has been 2 weeks and I am still getting chunks that stick to the bowl and leaves a blue filmed dried inside. Also, the water bubbles and looks like it has a oil sheen on it afterwards. I will not even bother using the second tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use of Product I have used this product for many years and have been pleased with the results. Yes there is a blue ring left in the tank but not in the bowl. My only problem is catching them in the grocery store which I have not for the last three months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product is useless I purchased a 4pk (big mistake) thinking I would have fresh bowls for at least 2 months. Wrong!!! We have a septic system which leaves a pinkish jelly coating below the water line. The jell can be removed easily with the toilet bowl brush or even a paper towel, so I saw no problem using the drop ins. If I could remove this substance, so could scrubbing bubbles. I was 100% wrong. I cleaned the bowl, dropped the blue scrubbing bubble puck into the tank, and relaxed. Two days later the jell coating was back. So, until SB clears out, I'll be cleaning my bowl every 2 days!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bubbles up in the tank - what a mess No where on your box does it say this product produces bubbles and foam in the tank! What a blasted mess! Thank heavens I only used it in one of our toilets! It also doesn't keep the bowl clean - I still have to scrub with a brush to get the feces & urine stains off the bowl - and I have only had this product in the tank for 2 weeks. Will NEVER purchase another one of your products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sad to desecrate the old "Vanish" brand name with this product! As others have written, these are basically useless. I'm of an age where I remember so vividly from my youth and through middle age when a 1/2 cup from a cylinder of Vanish Crystals REALLY cleaned your bowl.... and, in an emergency where a heavy-handed toilet paper user had clogged the bowl beyond plunging, how easily a 1/2 cup of Vanish Crystals would completely obliterate the plug and allow normal flushing to resume, no muss, no fuss!Don't know if it was a governmental ingredient regulation, or what the issue was which caused them to stop production of Vanish, but those Vanish Crystals were terrific. I still have about 1/2 of a container left (I think they completely stopped making it in 2009), and I use it sparingly when I have a really tough stain down deep in the toilet where it's hard to reach with a brush. You just let the crystals (fizzing away) sit in there for a few minutes and poof! horrible looking stain completely gone!By comparison these drop ins are of no value, no strength, gone very quickly, simply not worth the money.Oh, how I long for the "good old days"!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very unhappy I absolutely loved the white tablets you sold that fit into the canister in the toilet with the hoses that went directly into the tube that puts the water into the toilet. They were the best drop ins I have ever used. I hate the new blue ones. They have left a stain on my new toilets and while I never have a scum problem when not using them....I sure had one while using them. Please put the old ones back on the market. THEY WORKED!!!!!!! THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waste of money.... I recently moved and bought this product while shopping at my local grocery store. I had never used this product, but have always used drop-ins to supplement my normal cleaning.I moved into my new apartment on October 5th. I live by myself and now, on the 15th of October, the water is already clear and the drop-in is gone. I will NOT buy this product again. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gotta be the worst product ever created! I put these in all my toilets last week, in 3 days the toilets are permanently stained blue where the water trickles down the bowl and a ring where the water is. It only removes the hard water ring by turning it BLUE!They need to take these off the market, I will never use again or recommend them to anyone. Doubt I will attempt to try any other products they offer!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from don't work The Dropins tablets don't work like you think they would. Elbow grease is still required PERIOD. Buy a good toilet brush instead and use some vinegar or baking soda. The ingredients for this product "MAY" be legal but are NOT specific.Cleaning Agent ?? give me a break. "PH Adjuster"? Which why does it adjust > MINUS or PLUS ?? "SCJ Formula #35"? Now we all know just what is in our toilet bowl !!bob

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product is terrible What a disaster I spent the good part of the morning cleaning out the toilet tank! Dark blue gunk was caked on bottom and sides of tank and grungy fuzzy stringy pieces floating in bowl every time you flushed was discusting. I will never use this product again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed I was hoping these would help eliminate the scum build up in the toilet, but there is no difference since I started using them. After one week, still had a stain appear--and my family does remember to flush! Only difference is, you couldn't see it as much since the water was blue. Definitely didn't make cleaning any easier. It was also supposed to last up to 4 weeks, but after 1 1/2 weeks, the color was all but gone. I don't know if any other tablets work better, but I certainly can't recommend these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not last more than 2 days I have always believed in Johnson and Johnson but the scrubbing bubble toilet drop ins are not doing what they should be . First when you put them into the tank it turns a dark dark blue but in about a 1 1/2 the entire tank is out of the cleaner. How is that going to get the gob done? Do not recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not last more than 6 days and chuncks found in toilet when flushing Bought drop-ins could not believe that they did not last the full 8 weeks that the package states, also finding particles and chunks of the cleaner floating in the bowel not helpful at all.

I open as directed but it sticks to the wrapper on the inside and it is hard to get out. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made My House Smell Terrible and Stained ALL of My Toilets, Badly I read the other reviews and just wanted to be sure no one else suffers from what I have experienced too. I've had guests come into my house and say, out loud, "your house smells!" I had gotten these 'cleaners and deodorizers' due to our drought and the need to flush less often. Much to my dismay, they have stained my toilets (and I have not yet been able to get rid of the stains..even on our two brand new toilets) with a ring in the bowls that looks atrocious AND they have done the opposite of deodorize. The house also smells like a porta potty now. The worse part is, I cannot get rid of them fast enough due to low flow toilets and neither do I feel sure that I could pour some bleach in the bowls to see if that would remove the rings. Ironically these things last longer than any other toilet cleaner tablets I've ever used!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product This product stained my toilet bowl and tank.. Every flush chunks of the blue ended up in my toilet and was floating or sticking to the sides. The ones that stuck to the sides ended up staining. I ended up scrubbing the bowl after each flush.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good product. My mom actually got me into this product from Scrubbing Bubbles when I was growing up. I always noticed that it would do a fantastic job getting all of the bathroom clean & it still does today! This stuff gets my toilet extremely clean! Plus, I am in love with the lemon scent! To me it's not too strong & is very pleasant.I will always buy this stuff until it gets discontinued which I never hope happens!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Re-design When the bowl is clean already, this helps maintain it a little longer. I would like to see the dark blue coloring go away as on a bowl etched by hard water it leaves a semi-permanent stain. It would be great if the drop-ins were not dyed but as it came close to end of life a small pellet with blue color released do you know it's time to replace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product I like Scrubbles Bubbles Drop Ins. They don't have bleach in them, which plumbers have told me harms the plumbing equipment. And they don't fragment in the tank like other blue drop-ins I've used before.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful product I came onto this site hoping I'd find a customer with a similar problem. Wrong only more peeps with various other issues. So tomorrow I'll contact customer service. Maybe they'll have a suggestion that will remove the blue colorat the water line on both toilet bowls in my house that I CAN'T scrub away.Thinking I may get the barbecue tongs out and fish the reamins of the two blue thingies out put in an empty soup can ... bury in the yard or just put into the rubbish for pickup.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Product I was excited to try a product that would help keep my toilet cleaner in between cleanings. I live in an apartment with two men who don't always like to flush so keeping a pristine toilet with not a lot of work is a struggle for me. Every other product I've used promises extended cleanliness with little to no effort, but they just doesn't quite cut it.The only thing these tabs did was turn my bowl water blue so I couldn't see the stains anymore. About two weeks into use I noticed a yellow/brown stain developing in the entire bowl but only where the water was. After another week, I just wanted the tab to dissolve so I could go back to my regular method of scrubbing when the stain began pealing off in a film. It's absolutely disgusting.I'm thoroughly disappointed in this product and would never purchase it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lasted less than 10 days I have 2 small children that are just potty trained and not really flush trained. I thought that something that would help keep the bowl cleaner and fresher would be helpful. It was, it kept the bowl clean but the tab disappeared after about a week and a half. I remember 2000 flushes that promised 3-4 months of blue water. I guess I'll have to switch to them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product doesn't clean, but it does make your entire house smell like a portapotty I bought this product with the intention of keeping my toilet bowl cleaner for a longer period of time without needing to brush it. It doesn't help keep the toilet clean to any noticeable extent. It DOES however leave a terrible odor that wafts into the air and makes the entire house smell like a portapotty when I come home from work. I'll give them this; it lasts for a really long time. I've had mine in for two months, and I can't wait until it is completely gone. The house smells awful and I'd love to prop open a few windows, but it's 90 degrees outside :(
